Stokes Automotive is Giving Away a Car For Us!
Fundraiser

Thank you Stokes Automotive in Clanton!

When the owners and managers at Stokes heard that we were in serious financial difficulty they immediately sat down to come up with a way to help us.    They decided that they would sell chances for a car!

Come by Stokes between now and December 19th and make a $10 donation to the Chilton County Humane and leave an item from our wish list and you could win this Buick LeSabre!!

The drawing will be held on December 20, 2016 so hurry up and make your donation now!!

We appreciate everyone who has reached out to us in this time of need.  The outpouring of help has been appreciated not only by the board, the staff and volunteers; but also by our animals.  Our adoption rate has increased since we were on the news.

Donations needed
Fundraiser

If you saw us on the news last night, then you know that we desperately need funding to help us keep the shelter doors open. Without additional donations we will have to stop in-taking animals.

You can watch the WIAT42 segment at this link and their livecast walk through the shelter at this link.

Thank you to both WIAT42 and WBRC Fox6 for helping us broadcast our needs!

You can help by making a donation via paypal by clicking on the "donate" button on the top left. You can also make a donation by mail to our address at 139 Shade Tree Drive, Clanton, AL 35045.

If you would like to adopt Martin the cat, or Happy Feet the puppy you can by going to our online adoption application at this link.

Thank you for any help you can offer.  If you would like to help provide supplies, our number one item we need is cat litter, we always need cat litter. We also need contractor strength garbage bags, puppy food, water hoses and nozzles, office supplies, toilet tissue and paper towels.

4th Annual Spaghetti Dinner
Fundraiser

The Fourth Annual Spaghetti Dinner will be held on September 25, 2015 at 7:00 pm at the Clanton Country Club.  The great cooks of the humane society are revamping our sauce and working on desserts to provide a delicious meal for your enjoyment!

A portion of the monies raised will go to our feral cat Trap, Neuter and Release program (TNR).  Cats are amazing animals who can survive on their own, but who also breed rapidly and can overwhelm an area.  With a TNR program in place we can trap cats, take them to be spayed or neutered, and then released.   We are partnering with the Alabama Spay and Neuter Clinic in Birmingham for this program.

Our business partners have the opportunity to join our Partners in Compassion program.  We have  commissioned a piece of art from local artist Diana Hiott for this program.  This image will be featured on a unique t-shirt given only to our Partners in Compassion.  As a partner you will also receive a framed Partners in Compassion art image and certificate to display in your office.  If you would like to download information on participating in this program please download our information packet for this event.

You can purchase tickets at the shelter, at Pethaven, and at Cox Veterinary Clinic.  Or you can purchase tickets online via paypal with the following buttons.

Use this button to order tickets at $20 each:

Or order a ticket package and receive 4 tickets for $70.00:

DONATE TO TRANSPORT OUR SHELTER ANIMALS GOING TO RESCUE.

Hi! We're Buddha, Brownie, Annabelle and Bryan! We're so excited that we have a rescue we would run to them if we could! But foster Momma says that's not a good idea and we need some people to help buy some gas for us.

It's not just for us, look at the gallery and see the other dogs that want to go too!! Can you help us out here?

Every year, Alabama Rescue Relay takes thousands of dogs and cats from high kill shelters in Alabama to their rescues. But the vans don't run on love alone!

Please donate if you can to the gas tank to get these dogs to their rescue.

HELP US SEAL THE NURSERY FLOOR

Each year in shelters across America thousands of puppies die from diseases that are common in shelters and hard to fight, especially when you are a high intake shelter required to take in all animals that come to you.

One of the main things that can be done is seal the concrete floor in our nursery to protect the puppies. Concrete is porous, germs and diseases, sink in and linger for years, infecting litter after litter. Unfortunately this is an expensive project for a shelter with as tight a budget as ours.

Please contribute what you can to help us seal the floor in our nursery! The puppies are counting on us!
